Common questions
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your account email. You'll receive a reset link — check your spam folder if it doesn't appear within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Or, if you don't have the app installed, see our account deletion page for the email process.
How do I report inappropriate content or a user?
In the app, open the "⋯" menu on any review, list, or profile and choose Report. We review every report, typically within 48 hours. If you prefer, you can also email support@gamefold.app with a link or description of the content.
My game isn't showing up in search
Game data comes from the RAWG database. If a game is missing, it's usually because RAWG's catalog doesn't include it yet. You can request additions at rawg.io — we'll pick up the new entries automatically.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email privacy@gamefold.app from your account address and request an export. We'll send you a machine-readable copy of your profile, reviews, lists, and library within 30 days (GDPR Art. 20). An in-app export button is planned for a future release.
I found a security vulnerability
Thank you for reporting responsibly. Email privacy@gamefold.app with details. Please do not disclose publicly until we've had a chance to address the issue.
Is GameFold free?
Yes. GameFold is free to use. There are no ads in the app. A future optional premium tier may be introduced for extra features, but the core experience will always remain free.
